LIQUID METAL
Metals are all around us. We appreciate them for their strenght, toughness, ductility. They are composed of atoms which are held together by strong bonds. When heated to its melting point a metal loses its regularly shaped units, the atoms gain energy and start to move faster. The structure is weakened until the particles start to break free of the structure. The metal is melting to form liquid.
It is amazing to see how so solid and strong become so flowing and graceful.
From the fascination for this fabulous metal state was born this virtual potpourri. Enjoy!
