The Best Jewelry at the 2021 Golden Globes
There was no red carpet and in-person meetings. The Golden Globe 2021 was a remote ceremony. The nominees were thousands of kilometers apart watching the show from around the world and prepared to make virtual speeches. Everything was beautifully staged, but deeply dull.
Stop complaining, because the jewelry was so clearly demonstrated than never before, like on the cover of a magazine.
“The Crown” was recognized as the best drama series. Josh O’Connor took home the Golden Globe for lead actor and Emma Corrin was unsurprisingly the winner of the Best Actress.
I would also reward Emma Corrin and her team for an extraordinary look inspired by Pierrot clown. It embraced the drama even virtually and was perfectly harmonized with the show staged itself.
Anya-Taylor Joy, who amazingly interpreted the part of a brilliant chess player, won the lead actress race in the nomination “Best Actress in a Limited Series”.
A singer Andra Day without any experience in cinema was named best actress in a drama film for her portrayal of Billie Holiday. She suprisingly pulled out the prize ticket. Personality, anti-racist struggle, tragic fate of the legendary jazz singer and the theme of the film itself is definitely consonant with modern social moods. The point is rather whether the film is about the singer.
Let’s leave it now and just admire the jewelry. The blog is about it after all.
