Kika Alvarenga. The beauty of imperfection

The rough contains the delicate in the works of Brazilian jewelry artist Kika Alvarenga. Using the local materials she creates interesting and inventing designs. After graduating from the Central Saint Martins University of Arts of London, she turned her gaze to stones and precious metals such as silver and gold. The main idea is to make shine what is precious in each thing, find the unique beauty of the piece.

Her work is inspired by the movement and fluidity of the body creating with a “gambiarra” perspective which in her native language means “making do” / “improvisation”.
